The following schedule outlines a typical day at St. Francis Xavier School. While there might be slight variations based on ages/grade levels, this schedule offers a good overview of our daily structure. It should be noted that this structure is anchored by school-wide prayer at three times (morning, afternoon and end-of-day).
7:40 – 7:55 students arrive (3rd to 8th graders attend the 8am Mass one morning every week)
7:55 – 8:05 morning prayer assembly and daily announcements (entire school gathers in auditorium)
8:05 – 12:00 academic lessons (including a 15 minute snack and bathroom break usually around 9:30am)
12:00 – 12:30 lunch and recess
12:30 – 2:35 academic lessons (Angelus prayed together as a school at 1pm)
2:35 – 2:45 end-of-day prayers, announcements and dismissal of students
